Parent Council

Under legislation, the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006 a ‘Parent Forum’ for Kingspark School was formed and the establishment of a sub-group to represent the forum known as the ‘Parent Council’. The Council has a constitution and minutes of each meeting are sent to the Education Department. The Parent Council seeks to promote the involvement of all parents in their children’s education in a more meaningful way. The functions of this body are clearly defined within the terms of the Act, but will still allow for the excellent work of the PSA to continue raising much-needed money for our pupils
