Kinsgpark PSA

The Kingspark Parents and Staff Association (PSA) was set up primarily to raise funds for the school, to deliberate on how these funds should be spent and to act as a forum for parents' thoughts and opinions.

The PSA is a properly constituted body with a chair person, committee and constitution. They meet on several occasions throughout the school year. Over a number of years it has done sterling work in raising money for the school through such activities as discos, barbeques and other activities. In the main, the monies raised have been ring-fenced by the PSA and this has meant the committee having control over the money for the benefit of the school as a whole.

The PSA is a registered charity and this has allowed us to apply through different channels for donations e.g. National Lottery Fund. In the past we have bought bikes, pacers, go-karts, specialised outdoor seating / tables and financed 'class fun' activities.
